Manchester City Council. Photographer and reporter at International Youth Festival, Russia. Travelled extensively throughout the country for four weeks. Helped produce news letters and press releases for Manchester Evening News and City Life.

Documentary Photography Archive, Manchester. Commission to photograph aspects of life within the Afro-Caribbean community of Moss side & Longsight. Produced exhibition and book entitled: PRESENCE.
1989

Photographers? Gallery Bursary. Travelled to Jamaica for six months. Worked on project entitled: SILDENCE.
